Throughout Fairfield County, these non-profits are focused on community development activities that build stronger and more resilient communities. They build progressive communities by promoting safer neighborhoods, ensuring stable and affordable housing, investing in sound environmental conditions and building economic self-sufficiency.
The Foundation provides grants to support nonprofit organizations through direct program funding and general operating grants, as well as endowments, scholarships, and capital campaigns. We support non-profits in the communities of Stamford, Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan
GENERAL INFORMATION
Small Grants are open through two phases of the Rotary year. Applications received between July 1st and September 30th will be reviewed at the Trust Board Meeting in October, and applications received between 10/1 and 3/15 will be reviewed at the meeting in late March. The club will hold a celebratory luncheon for all those receiving awards at the end of April, and the grant application and review process will restart the following July 1st.

When awarding grants, we seek out organizations that are creating significant, lasting, and transformative change—either through responses to today’s needs or through systemic solutions that address the root causes of society’s challenges. We primarily focus on organizations that supports community/economic development or children, health, and families.
